WE could start off writing about other jockeys and end up scribbling a par about him but once again we have to acknowledge the skills of Dylan Browne McMonagle who visited the winner’s enclosure six times from last Thursday week to Sunday inclusive on Joseph O’Brien-trained runners.
His streak began with a treble at Leopardstown after which he partnered one winner at Down Royal on Friday. On Saturday, following the withdrawal of his intended mount Thundering On from the Juddmonte Irish Oaks (Group 1) he switched to Johanna Walsh and won the mile-and-a-half fillies’ classic by four lengths.
