IT’s very disappointing to see hunter chases so badly supported these days but, for genuine point-to-point followers, a win in one of the season’s ‘Classics’ is always special, so congratulations to the Queally family and Maurice Walsh for the success of Fenno’s Storm in last Saturday’s Tetratema Cup at Gowran Park.

The brown gelding, who has four point-to-point victories to his credit, was bred in Loughbrickland by John Kidd who previously stood the seven-year-old’s sire, September Storm, at his Ballyash Stud. Fenno’s Storm is the last of just four foals out of the four-time hurdle-winning Broadsword mare Sword Lady, who comes from the family of Sports Reporter and Hello Bud.
