TG4’S acclaimed live racing series Rásaí Beo returns to screens for 2025 today [Saturday] with a special broadcast from the Fairyhouse Easter Festival.
In mid-May, Rásaí Beo will make its debut at Naas Racecourse, with coverage of the Royal Ascot Trials Day.
Later that month, the cameras head west for the fourth consecutive year of coverage from Ballinrobe, where the feature race is the Mayo National.
On June 13th, Rásaí Beo visits Cork Racecourse, Mallow for the first time. The highlight of the day will be the Group 3 Munster Oaks, and this broadcast will bring the total number of Irish racecourses visited by Rásaí Beo to 22 out of 26.
Later in June, TG4 plans to broadcast from the Curragh on Friday, June 27th, as part of the Irish Derby Festival, before returning there on August 9th for coverage of the Group 1 Keeneland Phoenix Stakes.
Between those two Curragh dates, the team will be in Ballybrit for the Friday and Saturday of the Galway Races.
September will see Rásaí Beo head to the Kingdom once more for the 167th edition of the Listowel Harvest Festival. This year marks the 21st consecutive year of live coverage from Listowel.
The Rásaí Beo team is once again led by Seán Bán Breathnach, with analysis from Mánus Ó Conghaile, Sarah Lynam and Évelyn Ní Ghriallais. Reporting from the parade ring, Daragh Ó Conchúir will be on hand to capture the thoughts and emotions of jockeys, trainers, owners and punters. Meghann Scully also returns to the team for the festival broadcasts from Galway and Listowel.
