IN the space of about an hour on Thursday Eugene Daly’s Longview Stud in Cheshire was celebrating on the double, starting with the sale of their son of Sea The Stars for 875,000gns, and doing even better with their only other yearling, a home-bred son of Dubawi, who sold for 1,100,000gns.

Both colts were purchased by Godolphin at the expense of Ross Doyle.
