CO Wicklow’s Jane Bradbury is no stranger to success at the Tattersalls July Show but completed a unique double when adding victory in Wednesday afternoon’s Lynskey Engineering ridden hunter championship on Bloomfield Watergate to that in the morning’s youngstock decider.

Owned since winning the all-Ireland three-year-old championship at Bannon and Rathangan last season by US-based, Ireland-born veterinary surgeon Brendan Furlong, the Watermill Swatch gelding qualified for the championship when winning the four-year-old lightweight class on Tuesday. The other class winners on day one were Kerry Findlay’s 13-year-old chesnut gelding Shanbally Ronaldo (small), Tom McNamara’s Cappa Dianthus gelding Shanbally Fieldmaster (four-year-old heavyweight) and Jason Kelly’s Lansdown bay, Dennistown Lady Grace (mares).
