HORSEWARE founder and CEO Tom MacGuinness (68) is now in the Global Top 25 of the latest FEI Endurance Open Riders World Ranking. He ranks as number 22 in the world, making him the highest ranked Endurance rider in Ireland.

MacGuinness, who will be competing in the World Championships in Pisa next year with Horseware Sasha D’Aillais, took up the sport seven years ago. He has completed his 10th 160km three-star event, most recently at the Meydan FEI Endurance European Championship at Euston Park on August 17th last where he finished in 11th place on Horseware Siglavy Bagday VII and, as a combination, they rank 14th in the global rankings. He also completed the CEIO2* 120km Nations Cup at the same venue on August 18th where the Irish team finished fourth overall.
