SUNDAY’s feature class at the venue, the 1.35m Grand Prix went to Jonathan Smyth and Jacqueline Browne’s seven-year-old gelding Keelnacally Cobra Clover. By Cobra out of Annaghmore Clofi, by Clover Fields, the duo produced a double clear over the Alan Lynch-designed track in a time of 47.84 seconds to secure the win.

Aoife Owens riding her own Omard Connery (O.B.O.S. Quality 004 x HHS BR Charlton) took the runner-up spot in 47.98.

Smyth and his second mount, the eight-year-old Mulvin Cliodam (Luidam x HHS BR Charlton) produced a fault-free round in 53.42 for third place.

Sensation

Centadel Sensation (Centadel x Coriall), ridden by Laura Brown McCann, collected a single time fault in round one in a time of 81.18 which would be good enough to leave them in fourth place.

Victoria Kirkwood and Major Royale also had one time fault, hers in 81.80 for fifth place. Young rider Zara Keys and Malcom Keys’ French-bred gelding Djumbe D’Amour also had one time fault, in 84.02 to complete the line-up in sixth place.
