A STARTING field of 88 in the six-year-old qualifier at Barnadown, which offered 12 tickets to the Dublin Horse Show, was reduced to just 30 after the first round over the 1.30m track. That number was divided in two during round two, when just 15 combinations left all the poles in place to progress to the third round.

Young rider Eoin Brennan and his family’s home-bred mare GCS Angelina came out on top with a triple clear in 37.78 to secure the win. By Aganix Du Seigneur, she is out of GCS Athina, by Vigo D’Arsouilles.
