DENIS Lynch’s former Aachen Grand Prix-winning partner Lantinus 3 (Landkönig 3 x Argentinus) has passed away aged 28. The pair were at the very top of the sport of show jumping a decade ago, competing at the 2008 Olympic Games, the 2010 World Games and the 2011 European Championship. Their biggest career win came in 2009 in the world-famous Aachen Grand Prix.
Writing on social media, Lynch, who is the travelling reserve at this week’s World Championships in Aachen with Vistogrand, said: “Lantinus played the most important part in my career. Together, we enjoyed many memorable Grand Prix victories, including one of the greatest moments of my career, winning the Aachen Grand Prix.
