DENIS Lynch has had a very consistent run at the top level recently and this continued at the five-star World Cup show in Amsterdam over the weekend, when he and Vistogrand placed 10th in Friday’s five-star 1.50m Grand Prix qualifier, which saw 47 on the start list, 16 of whom jumped clear in round one to book a place in the timed decider. An impressive 11 combinations jumped double clear, with Willem Greve (NED) on Grandorado TN NOP proving unbeatable in a time of 33.29.
Lynch repeated his 10th place when riding Katja in Saturday’s 55-strong 1.45m speed class. The pair were among 19 clear rounds in the class, with a time of 57.84. Michael Greeve (NED) on Rubens took the win in 53.83.
