DAN Skelton took charge of another potential Cheltenham Festival contender this week when, through agent Ryan Mahon, he paid £245,000 for Glance At Midnight on the GoffsGo online platform.
Trained by Andy Martin, the six-year-old mare recently finished second to the well-regarded Act Of Innocence (Nicky Henderson) in a listed novice hurdle at Huntingdon. Previously, she had run in the Grade 1 Formby Novices’ Hurdle at Aintree, having earlier won her maiden hurdle and finished a distant second to Supreme Novices’ Hurdle favourite Old Park Star at Cheltenham in December.
