THERE was some good racing on the Saturday after Cheltenham, especially at Kempton (where some of the races had been carried over from a previous postponement) and Uttoxeter.

McFabulous won a valuable novices’ handicap hurdle at Kempton in the style of a smart performer in the making, with a 141 timefigure which he seems sure to improve upon hereafter in any case. He was one of the best bumper performers of 2018/2019 and shapes as if he will be as effective at two miles given a good gallop over this two miles and five furlongs.
