IT is fair to say the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe at Longchamp on October 7th is making up into a right old humdinger, yet again. In particular, two camps are developing: the Love camp and the Enable camp, though there is perhaps an “every other horse” camp as well.

This weekend, featuring Arc Trials and the Irish Champion Stakes, should help to clarify the situation on that last score, but Enable put the finishing touches to her racecourse preparation at Kempton last Saturday.
