THE Wicklow Area of the Irish Pony Society held their summer show last Saturday at Boswell where, thanks to the co-operation of the venue team, judges, officials, volunteers and competitors, the action was over before the heat became too intense.

Disappointingly, entries were lower than usual due to clashes on the day, the near exhaustion of travel weary parents and guardians who had gone to every Gallagher Dublin Horse Show qualifier and the fact that so many Pony Club camps had just ended or were about to start.
