SPEED merchant Sven Hadley took the win and fourth place in the 1.25m speed class on Saturday. Riding the seven-year-old Maximum Numero Too Hsh, he was the fastest of 14 clears in 44.88. He delivered another clear with Uidam in 46.68, which saw him take home another share of the £1,000 which was sponsored by Cavan Equestrian Centre, McFadden Civils Ltd and RML Equestrian. Ben Walsh also featured in this line-up, taking second place with the seven-year-old Creamcorde Hdh in a time of 45.26. Jonathan Smyth added to his record, taking third with Mulvin Lights Out, when he crossed the line in 46.60, while in fifth was young rider Aidan O’Brien, who was riding the six-year-old Baskin Centerfold, in a time of 48.52. Sean Nangle completed the top six with Robert Lowry’s seven-year-old Cullion Mr Griffin, clocking 49.10.
