IN the five-year-old final on Friday, 29 contested the round and 17 double clears were delivered to share the €2,500 prize fund. In the six-year-old section, 25 went to post and the prize fund was divided amongst the 14 double clears.

In the seven-year-old decider, 17 battled it out and taking the win was Max Foley aboard Marion Hughes’ HHS Lexington, when they were the fastest of 10 double clears. This is the second win of the series for this combination, having claimed the honours in Tipperary. Owned and bred by Marion Hughes, the gelding is by Luidam and is out of the Cavalier Royale-sired dam Chantilly Lace
