IT WAS a double celebration for Ballypatrick Stables-based American owner Kerry McCahill last weekend when two of her horses won Grand Prix titles in Ireland and Spain.

Greg Broderick’s five-star Gijon Grand Prix with her gelding Westbrook has been well documented (see page 95) but, meanwhile, Kevin Gallagher and another of her string, the nine-year-old gelding Bugatti X (Bugatti VDL x Chin Chin) captured an impressive win in the final round of the Underwriting Exchange National Grand Prix in Barnadown.
