HAVING had a disappointing Dublin, Sarah Ennis bounced back to land the EI 100 class on Saturday at Ballyvannon with her RDS partner Westwinds Mackenzie who won at the Ballsbridge showgrounds a year ago and, this season, was comfortably crowned five-year-old champion in the Young Event-Horse Series.

Alice Kehoe’s homebred Ricardo Z gelding impressed on his first one-day start as he won on a score of 26.5 ahead of Sarah Sproule’s former dressage horse Lyleview On Time (26.8), a 12-year-old by Goodtimes, and the eight-year-old Diamond Roller mare Baby Roller (29.8).
