“I would say that there is some value here, particularly with regard to fillies. All year the market has been very strong and this feels like the first sale where there has been some value around. Goffs and ITM have done a good job getting plenty of overseas buyers here and I take my hat off to them for that.” John Hassett, pinhooker/breeze up consignor.

“It’s been a solid, trading sale without being spectacular. The sale has increased from one day to two and that has put some pressure on the clearance rate while this is the last yearling sale of the year in Ireland but I think the sale has held up and credit should go to Goffs and ITM for getting as many foreign purchasers here as they did.” Joe Foley, Ballyhane Stud.
