A TOTAL of 25 horses are expected to be offered for sale after racing at Cheltenham next Thursday.

Competition for places in the Tattersalls Cheltenham Festival Sale is believed to have been fierce. The first 14 spots were filled on Wednesday morning and the remainder are likely to be confirmed after this weekend’s action. All 14 of the initial entries are point-to-pointers.

Recent graduates of this sale include Bravemansgame and Gerri Colombe, both Grade 1 winners this season and fancied to go well in their respective Festival engagements next week.

Printed catalogues will be available from Tuesday at the RDA stable yard, the weighing room and the Tattersalls Owners & Trainers marquee at Cheltenham Racecourse.

All lots will be stabled at the RDA stable yard and available for inspection from Wednesday, with courtesy transport available from the racecourse to the RDA stables.
