A GALILEO two-year-old half-brother to the late Sir Robert Ogden’s dual Group 1 winner Amazing Maria is among the highlights of the Tattersalls February Sale catalogue .

A total of 463 lots have been catalogued for the two-day sale which takes place on Thursday and Friday, February 2nd and 3rd.

Comprising 203 fillies and mares in and out of training, 37 broodmares and one stallion, 200 colts and geldings in and out of training, 11 yearlings and 11 two-year-olds, the catalogue features high-class consignments from leading owner-breeders including Godolphin and from leading British trainers including Andrew Balding, Karl Burke, John and Thady Gosden, William Haggas and Richard Hannon.

Godolphin’s draft of 16 lots includes the well-bred broodmares Dubian To (a blacktype producing daughter of Sea The Stars), Impala (an Oasis Dream half-sister to Group 1 winner Zambezi Sun), and Palmarola (a Sea The Stars half-sister to three group winners).

The Castlebridge Consignment will offer the largest draft in the catalogue with a team of 68, including the blacktype producer All Time High, in foal to No Nay Never.

The Barton Sales draft of 20 includes Lunearia (a daughter of Galileo and Grade 1 winner Luas Line) and Queenhope (a Kendargent own-sister to Kenhope in foal to New Bay).

Barton Sales also consign Albanderi, a Kingman half-sister to Group 1 winner The Revenant, and the aforementioned two-year-old colt by Galileo, a half-brother to dual Group 1 winner Amazing Maria.
