QUALITY horses in training and winning point-to-pointers are some of the main features of the Cheltenham December Sale, to be conducted there by Tattersalls Ireland. Previously the Cheltenham sales were organised by Brightwells, the Leominster auctioneers who had been running the Ascot Sales since 2000.

Including some still unknown wild card entries, Tattersalls Ireland expects to have a catalogue of about 45 lots for the auction, to be held on Friday, December 13th, at about 4.30pm, after racing. The breeze-up will be on Cheltenham Racecourse before racing on that Friday.
