WHO dares predict what we might see at next Friday evening’s Tattersalls Cheltenham December Sale?

Last month’s sale at Cheltenham produced three prices of £300,000 or more, and they all came out of the same point-to-point maiden. With doubts surrounding the spring season, handlers have been keen to get horses on track in recent weeks and there could be as many as 67 horses in next Friday’s sale.

There are also a few racecourse winners in the sale, notably Ray Cody’s smart juvenile hurdler Bell Ex One and Declan Queally’s blacktype mare Western Victory, who won again this week.
