RECENT dual Dundalk winner Dreams Fled Away is among the 85 horses in the Tattersalls March Sale in Newmarket on Wednesday week, March 27th.

The sale comprises 51 colts and geldings in/out of training and 31 fillies and mares in/out of training from both the flat and National Hunt disciplines, and two two-year-olds.

Trained by Shane Crawley, Dreams Fled Away won twice this year and was an unlucky second last night at Dundalk.

Consignors represented include leading owner-breeders Godolphin, Baroda Stud, The Castlebridge Consignment and trainers Andrew Balding, Marco Botti, Tom Clover, Ed Dunlop, Richard Hannon, Charlie Johnston, Jamie Osborne and Kevin Ryan.

The eight-strong draft from Godolphin includes the group-placed Brilliant Light and several unraced prospects with smart pedigrees, including sons of Group 1 winner Pleascach and Group 1 runner-up Endless Time and the customary selection of well-bred fillies led by Floral Melody, a two-year-old Lope De Vega half-sister to last year’s promising listed winner Kylian out of the listed winner Hikmaa.

Lots catalogued with smart recent form include the promising three-year-old Roberto Caro, an impressive two and three quarter length winner for Ollie Sangster on just his second start who will be offered by the Castlebridge Consignment. The three-year-old colt Mulciber has won and placed second on his two starts this year for Marco Botti and another last time out winner catalogued is the Roger Teal-trained filly Ellexis, Timeform-rated 83.

Baroda Stud will offer the consistent listed placed four-year-old Remarkable Force with a current official rating of 80 on behalf of Amo Racing, and George Scott’s Eve Lodge Stables will offer the unexposed three-year-old Perfect View, a winner on debut and runner-up on his two subsequent starts.

The National Hunt horses in training catalogued include two smart performers offered by Lodge Down Stables in Grade 3-winning chaser Canelo and the listed winner Didtheyleaveuoutto, as well as the promising five-year-old Black Sam Bellamy mare That’ll Do Moss, consigned by yesterday’s Cheltenham Foxhunters winner John Dawson and the winner of a point-to-point on her second start in February.

Michael Murphy’s Hamilton Stables will consign two smartly bred two-year-olds comprising a filly by Zoustar out of a half-sister to Group 1 Prix de Diane winner Star Of Seville and a filly by Kameko out of a daughter of the multiple Group 1 winner Nannina, both eligible for the lucrative Great British Bonus Scheme.
