Trade was of an altogether different variety on Thursday as the Goffs Land Rover Sale ended its three-day run but the Part 2 session still played its part in a hugely successful edition of the company’s flagship National Hunt sale.

Part 2 was particularly sobering last year and, while trade was somewhat selective this time, the outcome was altogether more positive as evidenced by a clearance rate of 74% as opposed to 58% in 2020. Thus a respectable day’s trade further bolstered the figures for the week.
