MULTIPLE Grade 1 winner Benie Des Dieux will be offered for sale at the Tattersalls November National Hunt Sale. The 10-year-old mare has been covered by Walk In The Park.

The sale, the largest National Hunt auction in the world, runs from Sunday, November 7th to Thursday, November 11th. There are over 1,300 horses catalogued, including more than 1,000 foals.

It was at this sale in 2013 that John Nallen purchased future Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Minella Indo as a foal from the Lalor family for €24,000. Nallen also bought this year’s Grand National winner Minella Times at this sale for €31,000.

The sale starts with 200 yearlings selling from 10.30am on Sunday, followed by 1,025 foals offered between Monday to Thursday, followed by 89 on Thursday evening.

The 2021 catalogue features own or half-brothers and sisters to blacktype winners Asterion Forlonge, Master Debonair, Special Tiara, The New One, Belfast Banter, Craigneiche, Yorkhill, Galop Marin, Fiddlerontheroof and The Game Changer.

The broodmare section also features Grand National runner-up Magic Of Light, who has been covered by Crystal Ocean.
