SOME Dublin 4 residents have lodged objections to the proposed €26m redevelopment plan for the Royal Dublin Society.
The RDS lodged plans with Dublin City Council last month seeking planning permission for the redevelopment of the Anglesea Stand with a new stand that would increase the crowd capacity from 18,500 to 21,000. The revamp would benefit Leinster Rugby games, the Dublin Horse Show, concerts and other major events hosted at the Ballsbridge venue year round, according to the application.
