Racegoers attending this year's Galway Summer Festival have a new addition to enjoy as Galway Racecourse unveiled Tote 26, a dedicated festival venue designed to enhance the raceday experience, both on and off the track.

Tote 26 provides racegoers with a top-class area where they can follow the racing, meet friends and enjoy the unique atmosphere that has made Galway one of the most popular fixtures in the Irish sporting calendar.

The launch forms part of continued investment in the racecourse experience and comes alongside Tote's ongoing sponsorship of the Galway Plate, the festival's most historic and prestigious race.

Tote also continues its sponsorship of the stable staff canteen, recognising the vital role stable staff play throughout the week. The initiative reflects Tote's ongoing commitment to the people behind Irish racing and to supporting the highest standards of equine welfare.

Lynda Reilly, General Manager of Tote Ireland, said: “Tote has always been committed to supporting every aspect of Irish racing, from racegoers and racing fans to the hardworking individuals behind the scenes.

"The launch of Tote 26 is an exciting opportunity to enhance the customer experience at Galway Racecourse, while our continued sponsorship of the Galway Plate and support for stable staff reflects our ongoing investment in the sport and the people who make it possible.”

“Galway is one of the highlights of the Irish racing calendar and we are proud to continue strengthening our presence at the festival through initiatives that bring fans closer to the action and celebrate the wider racing community.”

Michael Moloney, Chief Executive of Galway Racecourse, said: “We are delighted to continue our long-standing partnership with Tote, whose support has been an integral part of the Galway Summer Festival for over two decades through their sponsorship of the Galway Plate.

"The transformation of Tote 26 is a fantastic addition to the racecourse and reflects a shared commitment to enhancing the racegoer experience. This vibrant new venue provides visitors with another great space to enjoy all that the Festival has to offer, both on and off the track. We greatly value Tote’s ongoing investment in Galway Racecourse and look forward to building on this successful partnership for many years to come.”
