LEICESTER staged one of its most valuable races on Saturday, the Listed King Richard III Stakes over seven furlongs on heavy ground.
In the absence of Jallota, Ryan Moore having been booked by Charlie Hills, the race went to 9/4 favourite Emmaus but not before Donjuan Triumphant and Willie McCreery’s Downforce had made him work every yard of the way.
