Racing photographer Liam Healy (senior) died peacefully on Monday in Tralee Hospital after more than four years battling cancer.

From Listowel in Co Kerry, Liam established Healy Racing as the main suppliers of racing photographs to media and racehorse owners. His sons Pat and Liam, and daughter Cathy also work full-time for the family business which covers every Irish racemeeting, point-to-point, awards nights and even pony racing.

His funeral arrangements are as follows:

Liam Healy Snr, legendary racing photographer of 11 Ballygologue Park, Listowel & Healy Racing Listowel, Co Kerry, died peacefully at the Bons Secours Hospital, Tralee, Co Kerry surrounded by his loving family on the 4th of July 2016.

Liam, husband of the late Joan, is deeply regretted by his sons Pat and Liam Jnr, and daughters Lisa and Cathy, his adored grandchildren Kevin, Siun, Jack, Ruth, Adam and Sean, brothers and sisters, sons in law and daughters in law.

Reposing at his son Liam Jnr's residence, 32 Knockroe Drive, Clieveragh, Listowel on Tuesday (5pm to 8pm). Funeral Mass on Wednesday 11.30am at St Mary's Church, Listowel, with burial afterwards in St Michael's cemetery, Listowel.
