NOT for the first time in recent months Garristown-based trainer David Dunne successfully pulled off a huge gamble as Full Noise, who was backed from as big as 12/1 into a scarcely credible starting price of 4/7, won the first division of the Ladbrokes Odds Boost Handicap Hurdle.

At Navan in late March, the Dunne-trained All Class landed a huge touch when backed from 66/1 into 9/2 – a victory that remains under investigation by the IHRB. There wasn’t the same level of contraction in price when it came to Full Noise who carries the colours of his trainer.
