Monday's cancelled fixture at Punchestown meeting has been rescheduled for Wednesday.

This meeting reverts back to the entries with weights stage with fresh declarations to run to be made by 10am on Tuesday.

Racing will start at 12.30pm, with free admission for all racegoers.

Monday's fixture was cancelled at around 7.30am due to an adverse weather forecast.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board tweeted: "Following a course inspection and having consulted with Met Eireann, Punchestown today is cancelled. Due to status orange wind warning currently in place for Kildare area, and with winds due at their strongest during race times, the fixture is cancelled due to safety concerns."

Fairyhouse is due to race on Tuesday. The IHRB tweeted on Monday morning: "The ground at Fairyhouse is heavy (inside track). Forecast for high winds and heavy rain and the situation is being monitored regarding the current weather warning. A further update with follow later today."
