IT has been a busy summer for Conor Wixted, who recently started work with Goffs bloodstock department. The Clareman grew up in the showring with him and sister Aisling sharing the prolific Paulank Windstorm, the 2004 IPS Pony of the Year, followed by summers spent in producer Bill Bourns and Kirstine Douglas yards.

A graduate of the Teagasc and Horse Sport Ireland young breeder/handler classes, Conor showed GCS Ita, when she won the Dublin broodmare futurity championship, made his judging debut at Longford County Show and is part of HSI’s inspection team at inspections. He also rode out for Enda ‘King of the Banks’ Bolger.
