KILLCARRICK Riding Club hosted the final leg of the AYU Dressage League in the AIRC West Leinster Region, enjoying a record number of 84 entries at CoilÓg for this event.

Two dressage arenas were in full swing throughout the day. Attendees came from both within local AIRC West Leinster Clubs and clubs even further a field, with members of Cheval, Mullingar, Annaharvey and Thomastown also in attendance.

Judging was by Ruth Wiseman and Elizabeth Daly and the prizes were generously sponsored by PackHorse and EquiJump.

Killcarrick also had a best turned out prize which was awarded to Assumpta Byrne of Calliaghstown Riding Club and her horse Star, judged by Amber Jones-Anderson. Star was neatly plaited in both the mane and tail, and also was neatly clipped in a trace style. Schockenmohle generously sponsored this prize.

The final leg of the Linda Moore Showjumping League was also located in CoilÓg and hosted by Abbeylands RC. They too enjoyed record level entries of 145 entries for the final leg of this popular league.
