THERE is an exciting new addition to the Limerick equestrian scene with the opening of Hollypark Stables. On hand to visit the new venue while on a trip home from Florida, USA, was top Limerick international rider Paul O’Shea, a native of nearby Kildimo.

Located on the N69 in Curraghchase, Kilcornan, Co Limerick (V94 71W2), the new state of the art Hollypark Stables is kicking off its six-week Spring Horse and Pony League on Saturday, February 11th. Entries are already open on SJI Live and close on Friday, February 10th at 4pm.

There will be lots of action coming up at Hollypark Stables with a Warm Up League running in March/April along with a three-day Easter Horse and Pony Show, followed by a Horse Tour. (See SJI live for dates and details).

The local Stonehall Harriers Hunt will also be staging a Charity Show at Hollypark on Sunday, April 23rd which will be run in aid of the hunt and St Ita’s Community Hospital, Newcastle West.
