DEVON breeder and producer Cathy Wood had a busy few days last week which started with judging the young horse classes alongside Chris Hewlett at Balmoral Show on Wednesday. She was then ringside on Thursday morning to watch the Connemara ridden classes before dashing to the airport to get back to England for the Royal Windsor Horse Show.
And lucky she did because, once again, Windsor was a happy hunting ground as her Connemara stallion Clover Hill Magic improved on last year’s reserve to lift the coveted Horse & Hound Mountain and Moorland Supreme In-Hand Championship when shown by Jamie Frost.
