CONGRATULATIONS to Cian Melia and Jessica Lee who were married on April 30th at Corner Church Chapel in Headford, Co Galway.

The couple, who both work full-time alongside keeping a successful show jumping and sales yard, celebrated afterwards with their family and friends at the fabulous G Hotel in Galway city. The newlyweds then jetted off for their honeymoon in Dubrovnik, Croatia.

Primary school teacher Jessica hails from Headford where her family are well-known in hunting and jumping circles. She was walked up the aisle by her father Ray and had her sister and bridesmaid, Eilish, by her side.

Cian, who had multiple successes in the ring through his pony and young rider career, also comes from a family steeped in horses and his grandmother, Joan Hawkins, a former chairperson of the Miniature Horse and Pony Society of Ireland, is known for breeding miniature horses. After nearly 13 years together, Cian got down on one knee back in December. Pony Tales wishes Cian and Jessica best wishes for the future.
