THE Burchill family did claim the best-turned-out prize on offer in last Saturday’s All Ireland three-year-old filly final and could also have won a ‘dedication to showing’ award, having left Skibbereen at 5am to travel to Tydavnet.
Their Tyson filly Haven Hi Hope placed third in the Co Monaghan-hosted final and she and handler Deirdre won the best-turned-out prize too. Dublin-based solicitor Deirdre didn’t have quite as far to travel as her parents and, due to her work commitments, had put her lightweight hunter Ballard Bridge Boy on the market.
