ENTRIES are now open, and close on June 10th, for the Irish Pony Club national Minimus Championships, which take place over the weekend of June 22nd and 23rd.

The championships will commence with the cross-country and running phases at Killossery Lodge Stud, while the swim phase is being staged on the Sunday at the Trinity Sports and Leisure Club in Donaghmede, Dublin 13.

Tomorrow, the Laois Branch is holding a fun Minimus and Tetrathlon Training day, which starts with the swim phase at the K Leisure Centre, Athy, before moving on to Stradbally Hall for the run, shoot and ride phases.

The last fun Minimus of the season takes place next Sunday, June 2nd, when it will be hosted by the Golden Vale Branch. Action starts with the swim phase at Thurles Leisure Centre, moving to the nearby racecourse for the run and then on to Crossogue Equestrian for the ride, where there will be a special cross-country course for lead rein/tiny tot competitors.
