THERE were some bleary-eyed polo players last Sunday week after the exertions on the dancefloor the night before at the Polo Players ‘End of Season’ Polo Ball.

Players and friends enjoyed a sumptuous meal from the culinary team of Tankardstown House, who’ve been outstanding hospitality partners for the 2025 polo season. But no bleary eyes on the Wexford team who wisely stayed away from the shenanigans of the night before as a 28-year plan finally came to fruition for Paddy Casey and his team when on Sunday, Wexford were crowned the winners of the beautiful Pakistan Cup 4 Goal tournament, the final tournament of what has been a marvellous season of polo at the All Ireland Polo Club in the Phoenix Park.
