AS has now become customary, the honour of staging the first point-to-point of the new 2019/20 point-to-point season once again falls to the Mid-Antrim hunt. The white flag set to fall for the first time this season at Toomebridge this afternoon.

The autumn season has gone from strength-to-strength since its introduction in 2001, and this year no fewer than 29 fixtures are scheduled to take place, with plenty of hunt committees keen to run throughout the pre-Christmas campaign, resulting in a number of alterations to its traditional look.
