STARTING this Sunday, TRM Equine Nutrition will continue its partnership with Naas Racecourse in a deal which involves race sponsorship, awards for trainers and jockeys, plus significant backing for a year-long best turned out league.

Grooms responsible for both the best turned out horse and the winning horse on TRM racedays will receive €100 and a TRM goodie bag. The overall league-winning yard will again enjoy a celebratory breakfast and a €1,000 TRI Equestrian Store voucher.

Recently representatives from TRM and Naas Racecourse visited the local stables of Ross O’Sullivan, winner of the 2025 league. Staff received their merchandise, store vouchers and enjoyed a celebratory breakfast.

This season, the winning trainer on each TRM-sponsored raceday at Naas will receive a €500 TRM voucher. Owners and trainers will also see TRM’s presence more prominently throughout the season, with product giveaways taking place in the owners and trainers area across sponsored fixtures.

The public-voted awards for Ride of the Season and Training Performance of the Season also return following a positive response last year.

Last year’s Ride of the Season Award went to Keithen Kennedy for a well-timed, patient ride aboard Tawaazon, while the Training Performance of the Season was awarded to Andy Slattery, whose Sunchart successfully defended his title in the Listed Devoy Stakes. Both winners received €1,000 worth of TRM products and merchandise in recognition of their achievements.

TRM will also continue its backing of emerging talent through the TRM ‘From Ireland to the World’ Apprentice Handicap on the final day of the flat season at Naas. This initiative sees TRM offer a year’s sponsorship to the winning rider, who was Sadhbh Tormey in 2026.

Enda Kelly of TRM said: “We are delighted to expand our involvement again this year. Recognising the contribution of stable staff, while also supporting trainers and riders, is central to what we stand for as a company.”

Naas general manager Aidan McGarry added: “TRM’s partnership goes beyond race sponsorship. Their focus on rewarding the people who make racing happen each day brings real energy to our flat season.”
