FAIR play to Fran Berry for getting into the spirit of things when asked to promote the Keadeen Hotel’s Irish Derby events.

The former jockey turned broadcaster posed for some hilarious photographs and videos with ‘Malahide Woman’, the alter ego of internet personality James Patrice. We can’t imagine Nick Luck or even Gary O’Brien agreeing to do that!

The Keadeen festivities will kick off next Friday with “Pig & A Pint”, an open-air garden party with a barbecue, live music, and entertainment from ‘Malahide Woman’. We’re not sure if Fran will reprise his Punchestown signing performance.

Fran will be at the Keadeen on Saturday, offering tips to guests tucking into their ‘Bottomless Brunch’ from 11am to 1pm.

Racegoers are invited to head to the Keadeen after racing on Sunday (Derby day) for “Beats and Treats”, a lively night of food, fun and flair featuring D.J. Mo Kelly and saxophone player Natalia.

Tickets for each event are available on Eventbrite or from hotel reception.
