Davy Russell is the latest Cork Person of the Month and received the award at a function hosted by the Bishopstown & District Lions Club at Aras Leon, Bishopstown. THAT Youghal man Davy Russell is everywhere and he has now been chosen as the latest Cork Person of the Month.

Davy, thankfully not badly hurt from a recent fall, had a tremendous year in the saddle, winning the Grand National, being leading jockey at Cheltenham and becoming champion jockey in Ireland for the third time.
