IVAN Grozny (9-10 favourite) made all of the running to claim the big jumps race at Tipperary, the Grade 3 Kevin McManus Bookmaker Grimes Hurdle.
Sent straight into a clear lead by Ruby Walsh, the Willie Mullins-trained gelding never looked back and had pulled a long way ahead on the turn for home. Stablemate Sempre Medici emerged as the closest challenger, but Ivan Grozny was simply too good, winning by 11 lengths.
