GERMANY’s Michael Jung became the individual eventing Olympic champion for a third time today (Monday), taking gold with Chipmunk FRH at the Paris Olympic Games in Versailles, France.
Incredibly, it is the fifth German Olympic champion in-a-row the sport has seen since 2008 when Hinrich Romeike won, followed by Jung in 2012 and 2016 and Julia Krajewski at Tokyo in 2021. Today, Jung set the record finishing score of 21.8 at an Olympic Games.
