WEATHERBYS have announced the appointment of John O’Reilly as Chair of the Board, succeeding Martin Radvan, who stepped down as Chair last year.

John brings many years of experience in the horseracing, betting and gaming sectors, having most recently served as CEO of the Rank Group PLC - the UK’s largest casino and bingo operator.

John was previously a non-executive director at William Hill, non-executive director and chair at Grand Parade and was a senior executive at Gala Coral Group where he successfully relaunched Coral online.

Prior to this, John enjoyed a 19-year career at Ladbrokes, sitting on the company board for 16 years.
