IRELAND’s Conor Swail has retained his No 5 world ranking position in the latest FEI rankings with the top six remaining unchanged.

Sweden’s Henrik Von Eckermann remains as world No 1, followed by Switzerland’s Martin Fuchs in second, France’s Julien Epaillard in third, Dutchman Harrie Smolders in fourth and Britain’s Ben Maher in sixth.

Brazil’s Marlon Modolo Zanotelli jumped two places to seventh while Germany’s Daniel Deusser slipped one place to eighth while Dutchman Maikel Van Der Vleuten climbed one place to ninth. The USA’s McLain Ward rose three places to 10th to round out the top 10 in the world.

Cork’s Shane Sweetnam climbed three places to 14th as did Daniel Coyle who now sits in 23rd spot. Tipperary’s Denis Lynch slipped one place to 24th while Wexford’s Bertram Allen rose two places to 25th. Offaly’s Darragh Kenny dropped from 28th to 31st while Limerick’s Paul O’Shea rose one place to now sit 45th in the latest FEI world rankings.
