NAAS Racecourse stages its Royal Ascot Trials raceday on Sunday week, May 17th. The eight-race card features two listed races and two Group 3 races.

Last year’s winners on the day included Charles Darwin (Norfolk Stakes) and Lady Iman (Molecomb Stakes). Second to lady Iman was Green Sense who went on to win the Group 2 Prix Robert Papin. Previous Group 1 winners Babouche and Whistlejacket finished first and second in another race. Bucanero Fuerte, also a previous Group 1 winner, also won on the card. Over €300,000 in prize money is on offer and TG4 is broadcasting a number of races live.

The racecourse is laying on plenty of activities for young children and there are also Lily & Wild barbecue packages available. Family tickets are priced at €25.
