Tickets are available to buy via Eventbrite, with prices beginning at €15 per person. A family ticket for two adults and two children costs €40 and a bundle of 10 tickets is priced at €100.

THE Irish Field and Horse Racing Ireland (HRI) will jointly host a free webinar on cybersecurity at 7pm next Wednesday, December 10th. Expected to run for just over 30 minutes, the webinar is aimed at anyone working in the racing or bloodstock industry who wishes to learn more about how to avoid online scams and protect their computer systems from hackers. Shaymus Kennedy, HRI’s chief technology officer, has prepared a presentation for the webinar and will take questions from participants afterwards. STREETS Bloodstock, which offers accounting, tax, and financial advice for the bloodstock industry, have appointed Michael O’Hagan to the role of bloodstock industry adviser. Former ITBA and ITM chief executive O’Hagan previously acted as international advisor and representative to Al Basti Equiworld and launched his own business, MOH Consultancy, in February of last year. O’Hagan commented: “I am excited to be working with Andrew, Sarah and the team at Streets and look forward to taking on new projects with new people while drawing on past experiences with a solid base of friends, family and established industry professionals.”

THE Doneraile Steeplechase Committee has issued an open invitation to the sod-turning ceremony for the monument being erected to commemorate the first-ever recorded steeplechase. The event takes place next Friday, December 12th, at 2.30pm.
